Please Welcome Dr Evan Bayles

We are excited to announce Dr. Evan Bayles will be joining our practice July 14th 2014., Please help us give him a warm welcome. Dr Bayles earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where he majored in psychology and minored in chemistry. While at Ohio Wesleyan, Dr. Bayles was involved in many extracurricular activities highlighted by being an all-conference performer on the varsity track and field team and serving as president of his fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi. Dr. Bayles went on to attend Southern College of Optometry graduating with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2009. He also served as student class representative in the student government while at Southern and was a member of the optometric fraternity Omega Delta.

 

As part of Dr. Bayles’ passion to help people see, he has gone on eye clinic mission trips to Thailand and Mexico with the OneSight program. He has also participated in local vision clinics to help underprivileged students obtain eyewear. A pursuit he hopes to continue for years to come.

 

Dr. Bayles is also active in his community. He stays involved with his church as part of the Sunday morning welcome team and Friday morning Bible study. He is a member of the young alumni association for his alma mater Ohio Wesleyan. As a fitness enthusiast, Dr. Bayles races in everything from 5k to the marathon.

 

Dr. Bayles moved to Cincinnati to begin his optometric career at the end of 2009. He is engaged to Kristen, who he will be marrying in September. Dr. Bayles is eagerly anticipating his move to Northern Kentucky and starting the next chapter of his career.
